Thor’s Mallet: Making Wood Mallets the Fun Way!

This is a chance for us to get better acquainted with the procedural side of the wood shop to make ornamental mallets with simple techniques in a fun way!

Using the Table saw, bandsaw, miter saw mortising jig, and vice students will create a Walnut and Maple mallet that can be used in future projects! 

This class will involve making specialized use of the tools and equpiment mentioned above and is appropriate for: 

Beginners through Advanced Students

Sanitized hearing and eye protection will be provided and masks are required at all times while inside the space. Please wear closed-toe shoes and fitted clothing.

Cost = $65

Max Students = 5

Student Ages = 16+

Minors attending this class must be accompanied by an adult parent/guardian for the duration of the course.

This class will be in two sessions: 

First on Saturday March 12th - 9am-12pm

• Mallet Construction and Glue up

Second on Sunday March 13th 12th 11am-12pm  

• Mallet Sanding and Finishing
