Description

AI & Ethics Workshop for Teachers

Date: Saturday, July 1st

Time: 10am-1pm

Looking for school teachers of any subject for workshops on how to teach about AI and ethics with critical thinking. We will go through an adult version of a workshop designed for children age 10-12 that introduces what AI is, some applications of AI, creative activities for imagining future AI, and discussions of ethical issues of AI. The goal is for teachers to be able to adapt these activities into their own lesson plans, if desired.

This event is free and all materials are provided.

This is a collaboration between Decatur Makers, Georgia Tech, and University of Oulu, Finland.

If you are interested in participating, please print, sign, and bring this Teacher’s Consent Form

Please note: The workshop is part of a research project studying how to best support critical AI literacy for children and teachers.
