Cosplay Club- January Project Wrap Up

This Friday 2/3 from 5p-7p we will be meeting to finish last month's Cosplay Club project. If you made a plaster cast hand last time, please join us to learn how to finish it. If you weren't able to make it last time, no worries! All are welcome to participate in the faux metal surfaces demo. Learn patina faux metal surfaces!  

This club is FREE and open to members and non-members. Please complete the liability waiver prior to the club. Adults are welcome to drop off or stay for the club. 

Club Description:

The Decatur Makers Cosplay Club [ DMCC ] is an inclusive Youth Activities club where young people can embrace their love for costuming and performing in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. The mission of the DMCC is to nurture creativity and cultivate skills that can be leveraged into any number of creative careers.

DMCC is open to youths between the ages of 14 and 18 and meets the second Friday of each month from 5pm - 7pm. The first hour of club time is dedicated to formal instruction by our instructors with a supervised free build period in the latter half that members can use to work on their individual cosplays or the DMCC group project. Our goal is to design, build, and perform a group cosplay project at the Dragon Con parade to engage and promote Decatur Makers and the DMCC to our community.
