An Introduction to Analog Inputs on Arduinos and Raspberry Pi's

Ever wondered how your 3D printer knows what is the extruder's temperature? Want to know more about how analog inputs work - or even what they are? This month's presentation will be an introduction to reading analog values into Arduino's and Raspberry Pi's. Learn how thermistors (the temperature sensors in your printer) work and how you can use the analog inputs to read all kinds of information into your devices. You'll also learn some secret tricks to expand the capabilities of the inputs, along with some tips on what you can - and cannot! - do with them.

We are pleased to announce the return of the Arduino/Raspberry Pi User’s Group monthly meetups. Meetings will be held every first Monday at the space starting at 7pm. There is no membership and anyone can  join us at any time.

We hope to have a monthly talk/presentation on topics of interest to the group. Might be a demonstration of a cool new project or maybe an educational talk on some technology such as options for powering your projects (solar? battery?) or low power techniques.
