How to Design and Build Your Own Speakers Part 2

Back by popular demand, Bill and Chris's Speaker Design Class, V5.0! Learn what it takes to design and build your own speakers and build a pair of your very own speakers to take home with you.

This is a two-part, two day class. On day one we will start with a classroom session on speaker design and construction. In the class we will learn about sound, how we hear it, how it propagates and what it takes to generate "good" sound. We'll learn about the various components that go into a speaker, how they work, how to select them and how to design the right enclosure to create that great sounding system.

At the end of the class we'll glue up our enclosures in preparation for the next night when we assemble the components, finish the speakers and test them with some Pink Floyd!

The class runs over a two night stretch, 7-9pm each night, Thursday Sept. 29th and Friday the 30th. The cost for the class is $60 which covers the cost of the speaker components. If you want to see and hear what you'll be making, drop by the eshop and give them a listen!
