Fill the Food Pantry Donation

Decatur Makers is metro Atlanta’s first and only all-ages makerspace with the goal to provide making opportunities for everyone!

We’re also a nonprofit — so your gift is tax-deductible!

The Fill the Pantry Initiative is a program designed to support the Little Free Food Pantry managed by First Christian Church Decatur. Decatur Makers encourages its members to contribute towards purchasing non-perishable food items for the pantry. By donating as little as $1 once a month, members can collectively make a significant impact on addressing food insecurity in our community.

Program Details:

  • Donation Day: Every first Monday of the month, members are encouraged to donate towards the Fill the Pantry Program.

  • Monthly Goal: Our aim is to raise $125 each month to purchase essential items for the pantry.

  • Commitment: Decatur Makers will ensure that all funds collected are utilized to purchase necessary food items for the pantry.

  • Weekly Filling: Once the items are purchased, Decatur Makers will commit to restocking the pantry on a weekly basis to ensure it remains well-stocked and accessible to those in need.

How to Participate:

  • Donate: On the first Monday of each month, contribute as little as $1 towards the Fill the Pantry Program.

  • Spread the Word: Encourage fellow members to join in this meaningful initiative and help make a positive impact in our community.

  • Volunteer: Consider volunteering your time to assist with purchasing and stocking items in the pantry.

Thank you!
